I have so many ideas, and I'm already thinking of ways of building them all.
I should focus on a build for my local club, but.. I just can't help it.

I might be in if I can think of something strange and unexpected to go with.
I like the Battlezone idea. It could be neat to make it with clear styrene either paint the edges or use painted styrene strips to pick out the edges. Many a quarter was sacrificed to play Battlezone.
I was thinking maybe Space Invaders. I'd have to take some artistic license for the laser canon and make it a block shaped tracked or wheeled mobile laser system.
Something like that be okay?

Battle Zone was awesome (are we showing our age?), I loved the sound system. I can still hear the "alert tone" when a bad-guy tank was detected. I'd really like to see someone do that build.

1965trooper:
Great video- that's exactly the kind of video game build that only a true COD fanatic (and model-builder!) would do. Exactly what we need...
Stojkovic1987:
Another excellent example of a video game build. I remember that BMP in game. I wish one of the big players would put out a new Shilka in 1/35. Looking forward to your ideas...
Bluestab:
Space Invaders sucked up lots of my paper route money when it came out. I think if you want to do a scratch build that would be very ambitious. Although perhaps strictly not armor in some people's eye's, I think an argument could be made that it belongs in this group build. I say go for it!
I have started my first build today in my hotel room... (on the road). A few crappy cell phone pics to follow in the separate build thread.

The local skating rink had a Battlezone game. Years later I picked up a Win 3.x version for my computer. It wasn't the same without the booming audio and the dual stick controls.
Anyway, the Space Invader thing shouldn't be too bad. I figure a boxish chassis on tracks. Dress it up with a gunner's seat and it should be good. It should look very tankish. I'll dig through the spares and see what I have in the way of track and suspension.
Stuff will come together as the start date gets closer. I'm actually planning on building a dino rider for a campaign over on Model Geeks. It fits with Ark: Survival Evolved.

Interested BUT a couple of questions first that aren't answered in the rules sections?
A: Part Built Kits?
B: Crossover Campaign?
thanks in advance

Been working on this for a while, but haven't posted.
Came across this one by chance.
Zvezda SU-100. Remembered I had some spare D-25T barrels, so I decided to build this as a SU-100 with the 122mm from WOT
Started right at the gun which came from a Tamiya IS-2 kit. Added some cast texture with some Mr. Surfacer. Had to scrape off the molded on lifting hooks (molded solid) and made my own from evergreen.
Mr. surfacer on the barrel to get rid of those seam lines.
Changed the rear of the kit. Added these things (not sure what they're called) from some unused PE and some evergreen.
Cut out the molded on mesh from an unused part from a DML kit and added some more PE.
Epoxy putty welds, and some unused DML parts, and some evergreen. Filled in the locating holes for the fuel drums. Going to be adding some DML drums/mounts.
Some work on the roof, some evergreen rod.
