I recently did a three-day mega drive tour from Munich to Munster, Koblenz and Sinsheim Museums and will be slowly adding some photos to my new Flickr account. Starting off with relevant modelling subjects like this one. Album Link Here I hope!

The link to the album works
Did you get pictures of the beast standing to the right side of the KPz 70 in Koblenz ? Looks like that two-barreled
JagdPz prototype (I'll fire a shot while I reload)...

New album added of the VT 1-2. You should be able to choose download sizes with the arrow at the bottom right corner of each photo?

Great photos thanks!
What's your setup for the photos from above? Some kind of perch? I use a monopod but my DSLR and lens are heavy and it's ackward and a bit hit or miss with the self timer (I have no remote)...
As a side note, some museums won't let you use tripods or monopods, couldn't use my monopod at Lesany, I was furious but there were museum "guards" all over the place...
Cheers,
Christophe

Hi Christophe,
I recently got a Nikon S9900 which has WiFi and I can remotely operate it from my smartphone, both shutter and zoom, plus the added benefit of being able to see the picture you're shooting. I use a monopod and can lift it up pretty high (I'm 6'2 to start out with!) Having said that I get pretty sore arms at the end of the day; and some shots turn out a little blurry as I don't hold it that steady. I just got an extendable aluminum painting extension which the monopod fits into, so hopefully I'll have the steadiness and the height now. Still use the D3200 for 'ground shots'. I didn't bring the S9900 to Koblenz though...it was in the car but then I would have had to pay again to get back through the turnstile!

Maybe you could get one of these for the monopod?
