So my air compressor finally died after 8 good years of service. Are there any dual piston ones for under $200 that anyone could steer me towards? My next question, do I even need a dual piston or can a single piston do just as well? Thanks for any help.

try harbor freight they have a range of compressors that will fit you needs and can be used for other things than running your airbrush

Thanks. I actually managed to get a great deal on a Silent-Aire Scorpion II similar to my old one. I did look into Harbor Freight and was impressed with them.

I bought a California Air Tools 1650A from Home Depot to have in my garage when I needed to fill up deflated car or bicycle tires. Ended up in my shop for airbrush use.
