As those of you that know me realize,I like to break things up with a diversion once in a while to keep the palette clean as it were.
This is so far stock out of the box but with a LOT of undercutting and carving. I lost her about 20 pounds in the face to get rid of the sort of"old lady look". The face now matches the body a bit more. Needs some putty and lead foil details but not bad. Nice sculpt.
I should have taken a before pic of the face. I actually took more than an hour of work in it to get rid of the chubbiness. This plastic is VERY soft and it is only because I finally bought an optivisor that I could see my way through it. Thanks Randy at Avenel Hobbies for that tip. I will miss that shop for sure.

I wonder if we should worry. Jerry buys an optivisor,, and suddenly he's retooling female figures. Can somebody drop by his place to make sure he's all right??

Last night I did the putty work and filled in some spaces around the hair and the handbag. You have to look closely and try to pick out things that just don't look right.
I still am adding a belt, strap for the bag and maybe bows on the shoes as per the box top. I am hoping this fig will fit in my large dio showing a post war street scene in Germany. Yes,this style of clothing is pretty much 1930s but I imagine the ladies had to make do right after the war?

I am not mad enough to try to paint the plaid dress pictured on the box top though.
