im newbie at model kit.just bought a mcv warrior iraq 2003
any suggestion for the base/primary paint use what color?
since i dont have airbrush...im planning to use spraycan and paint brushes
step by step weathering
i saw many times in youtube the carlos's tutorial using vallejos painting on mcv warrior but it seems complicated and he use airbrush...

The actual color is called Middlestone. I am not sure there is a model spray can color that matches it. It is a yellow-sand color though, so you might want to look for something in that range.
Here are a couple good pics showing the more yellow-sand color.
I mixed my own color for the one I did a while ago. I built it for the the actual commander of the vehicle. I met him after the invastion when we were both stationed at Ft Irwin, CA together.

Yes, you can use a spray can for teh base color. Use a bark brown pin-wash to bring out the details, then drybrush with a light sand color to make them pop. I usually finish up with a heavy wash of a sandy acrylic craft paint to get a really dusty look.
