Hi All,
Pleased to report that the mAFVA Marquee has gone up without a hitch, and that the tables are set out thanks to the small dedicated team of locals.
Today will be spent on on putting up banners and signs, ensuring that the tea urn works and also in visits to the MT workshops.
There will also be several highlights as our friends from the DAS MT section bring their vehicles over to the marquee and allow us to 'get up close & personal'.
Tonight we have our Jubilee buffet in the marquee followed by the obligatory visit to the pub.
Tomorrow we have an early start with traders and exhibitors allowedon site at 08.00hrs, with visitors/public allowed in at 10.00hrs.
That is when the competition entry desk will open.
If you are attending and want to go on a workshop visit, you will need to register as soon as you arrive as places are limited. This is only open to paid up MAFVA members.
As always, the MAFVA Tea stall will be running on a donations basis supply hot & cold drinks, with cake & biscuits.
The presentation of prizes will commence at 16.00hrs.

This is our Jubilee show, so we are making the most of it.

I hope to see you all there.

Paul Middleton 1528
MAFVA Liaison Officer.

Just back, enjoyed the show, rain stayed off, some fine builds. Not as many traders as last year. Pity there was no Military Vehicle Display nor re-enactors, wasn't the same day out without them.
