Kind of interesting. I saw them on another site recently. I wonder if they plan on other MadMax figures/kits? The MadMax Interceptor would be awesome in 1/35.

Wondering what the car/truck is? Kind of postapocalyptic Mercedes G4?

For me this release is absolutely not interesting, sorry They better should release some minor axis/allied figures, would be more useful than this.
Just my opinion

My favourite thing about Masterbox is that they aren't afraid to throw some goofy ideas out there. At least it's not licensed from Marvel and these ideas are all their own.

Cool. Love stuff along the lines of the apocalypse genre

Might look good with the War Rig.
I guess it's a good thing I went with 1/32 instead of 1/24. (Only because I wasn't aware at the time that correct tires are available in resin in 1/24)
I thought I'd dropped out of building for others, but a guy overseas I've done models now for nineteen years wants it, and will pay ridiculous prices for it. That said, I'm also free to spend whatever it takes. Polar Lights cars are solely to take the 1/32 blowers from. Louvers are for the long hood. I thought of using a Dana for the truck chassis,as it would have been very close to the real thing, but I can fake that easily enough.
Anyway, construction has already begun:
The sphere is for the fuel trailer.

Won't you need the bodies for the back of the cab and on the trailer?

They're kind of cartoon like, but the '33 Willys might be altered to work. That's actually what the '40 Ford was for, although it has the wrong profile. At least one of the ones on the trailer is a VW, so no worries there.

I wonder what they will come up with next.
I like it! And their willingness to try something else than yet another panther, tiger or stug!

Now Andrea needs to reissue thier OOP Mad Max figure - Outback Avenger.
Pretty good likeness if you ask me. They need to add the dog though.

Not a bad idea fro MB. I have the zombie set and it's a series also, so I'm waiting for the next set. Guess I got to P/U these also. Just a good fun break from the military stuff.

Not Yet Dead Miniatures (NYDM) has some 1/35 "Survivors." Their "Max Madden" kind of looks like Mad Max. NYDM also has 1/35 zombies.

Northstar Models of Ukraine also produces some 1/35 resin Post-Apocalyptic figures.
I'm not affiliated with Not Yet Dead Miniatures or Northstar.

Well with a lot of scratch building the Doof Wagon is possible, although the Giga Horse is 1/24 territory unless there is a 1/32 Cadillac.

Nice.
I'm glad to see MB has not stopped the post-apoc theme with the Alice and zombie set. I could see the two sets used together...just have to go with the zombies for a walking dead them or drop them for a Mad Maxian theme.
Hopefully there'll be more to come.

Finding the car isn't necessarily the issue. With the Giga Horse it's finding a suitable engine in 1/32, as it IS visible. I was lucky to find two blowers in 1/32 for the War Rig. Of course one would have sufficed and I could have cast the other. In fact I may do that anyway for future projects.

Some options to think about: M113 engine, Revell 1/32 snap race cars came w/an engine, 1/35 truck engine, 1/24/25 small-block V-8, 1/43 V-8 or truck engine, etc...

Forgive my ignorance, but what is a Doof Wagon and a Giga Horse?

Doof Wagon: A mobile martial music machine based on a Man truck chassis. Taiko drummers ride the back - the drums are amplified through huge pieces of duct work. A guitarist hangs from bungies at the front with his flame shooting guitar, rallying the troops like in old war movies.
The Giga Horse is a hybrid monstrosity based on two Cadillac bodies.
Best bet is to Google them, which no doubt someone will. Better yet, watch the movie!

I've got all of those. (exept 1/43 - well, probably have that stashed someplace as well) I can save folks some time - none really fit the bill.
Trust me, I buy dozens of kits just for one or two parts (hence all those Bradley and MLRS kits) These were to find a suitable engine block I needed for a stripped M110 engine I did for a guy.
