An un-boxing! Can be ordered via: www.wwmodelstudio.com

I paid $150, that included a $20 Paypal fee they attached. This is the most I've ever paid for a kit, but overall I'm pretty happy with it. I've purchased many resin kits before and always you see a couple of pieces that are duff, or some major architecture you know will cause fit issues. Not so here. The hull halves appear to be ready to go together but for a clean up of the seam. Don't get me wrong, it isn't going to snick together like a Tamiya kit, but I don't see any major warpage. Furthermore, I don't see any pinholes in my example.

Hi Mike;

Looks Pretty Good Overall, kind of reminds me of the Accurate Armor kit. It looks like its going to be Labor Intensive tho, I wonder if you could replace some of the more rougher parts with A T-34/85 turret as it looks pretty bad !! I Will be Following your Build For Sure.

Good stuff, I've got the Accurate Armour kit in my stall pile at the moment. Needing to upgrade the tracks. I know in the photos they are only dry fitted together, but how's the fit looking?

Thanks for the preview.

Looks we have a lot of choice lately with new T-44 kits, 5 Stars Models (cheaper and with PE fenders/boxes but no metal tracks) then this one and next Hobby Planet should be out soon.

Cheers,

Christophe

Fit really isn't an issue. Only had about 30 minutes last night and I've got the turret and hull coming together well, turret:

Hull after work. Again, only about 30 minutes total work last night to get to where I am now:

A T-44 turret is quite different from a T-34-85. The gooseneck needed to clear the T-34 engine deck is absent, for instance, and the bulge on the left turret side is drastically larger in size and shape than the one on a T-34.

Hi;

When I built my two T-44s, I used the T-34/85 turret and scratch built the other details that were missing.
The first was the AA kit and the other was A total re-build using A Old LEE kit of A T-54. The AA kit turned out to be the Better Build.
Looking Forward to seeing your kit Built; Keep up the Good Work.
CHEERS; MIKE.
