I think the tea and coffee solution will just make them look very old, like decades old, l would just fold the and clamp them to make them look well used, or use a small diameter tube to make a tea or coffee mug stain, but the folding into a small object and clamping in a vice for a minute or two then unfolding is the best way that l have found.

Is the Verlinden product on porous paper or is it a decal? If a decal then the coffee/tea trick may not work as it would not absorb the stain.

Try first copying the Verlinden sheet with a color copier onto a light tan paper. The copy paper/print will right away make it look more real.

I would go easy on the coffee/tea staining unless you are looking for an extremely old looking effect.

I love the idea of using a tube to form a coffee stain on the paper!

Tamiya offers some "Yank" newspapers with their Dragon Wagon Recovery kits. (Just printed as part of their instruction sheet.) I used one once but always thought the paper looked way too "white". I will be going home tonight to paint on some coffee to tone it down a bit!

Now why didn't I think of that? ;-D)
