Hi,
I've seen a video where the modeller applies Mr Surfacer to fill seams, then after it dries, wipes off the excess with a cotton bud wetted with Mr Thinner.
Can I use white spirit instead of Mr Thinner to do the same thing?
Thanks

I use Mr Surfacer 500 in the jar for seams, and I have removed the excess with just # 91 ISO Alcohol on a swab
Hope this helps.

Enamel thinner will not remove Mr surfacer, as it is a lacquer. You can use 91% rubbing alcohol, however a mild lacquer thinner like Tamiya works best and does not damage the plastic underneath. Hardware store lacquer thinner will eat the plastic of your kit.

Thanks guys.
I thought that was probably the case but hoped to avoid buying something specific for this ;-)
I'll get some Mr Color Thinner.
