Hello all,

I am in the process of building the Merkava MK3D from Meng. I am currently using the Friulmodel ATL-49 tracks with it but I have begun to doubt that these are the correct tracks for the MK3D early version. I have scoured the Internet and have seen a lot of great modellers use ATL-49 as well. Would anyone happen to know more about what the correct tracks are for the MK3D early version? I have seen online pictures of the actual rank both with ATL-49- looking tracks and the ones meng provides.

Thanks!

Hi!
ATL-49 is the wrong choose.
Merkava 3D have mounted a reinforced late type of tracks (Spade Ace have this in their offer). I never saw a picture oj Mk.3D with early type of tracks (like ATL-49).

The other reason for the confusion is that Wikipedia says that only in the latest version of the 3D were the tracks updated. The meng version says "early". I'm not sure whether so many modellers could have made the same mistake I made or if there's something more to this story.
