In north africa the DAK used some truks to carry some 88mm flak guns, in particular a wheeled version, I saw a Discovery Channel video in which it appears one of those during a visit by Rommel, I could not get a picture to show and I know it is a long shot, but can anyone help me find out the truck and the gun?

Maybe this? Cannone da 90/53 on Lancia truck abandoned by Rommel's army in February 1943

those trucks are smaller than the Cannone da 90/53 on Lancia but they're definitely Italian vehicles.

After looking at the you-tube video you referenced, I don't think the gun on that truck is an 88. More likely an Italian piece, or perhaps a captured gun, since the DAK made frequent use of captured equipment.

That was my thought as well. It just doesn't quite look like an 88.

Looks like an Italian 75/27 C.K. on a Ceirano truck. Picture at the bottom in green.
