I have an Iwata Eclipse HP and I've noticed that it recently started spraying paint when I just depress the trigger where it use to just blow air. I use to have to pull the trigger back and then it would start spraying paint.

Any ideas on what is going on or needs replaced?

Thanks,
Chris

Sounds like your needle is not seated all the way forward into the nozzle. Loosen the Chuck nut and push lightly but firmly with the Palm of your hand on the flat end of your needle. Don't force it! The needle might also be dirty, causing it to get stuck as it travels. Clean it off and apply some lube to it.

yep there must be paint deposition in the nozzle and on the needle tip. remove the needle and the nozzle and give them a good cleaning.

Like the posts above said, it's probably dried up paint in your nozzle which causes the needle not to seat properly. Give the nozzle a good soak and use a nozzle pick/brush to clear out the deposits.

an ultrasonic cleaner run would help with this
