Hi all,
While the subject of Tigers is hot these days, here is my first attempt at a Tiger 1 Dragon kit:7251 in 1:72 scale.
Built OOB with the addition of turret tracks and scratch supports.
1 cable reworked into a slung position.
Addition of turret MG mount.
Tracks had to be cut down by 3 links because they were too
long.
Painted with TAMIYA acrylics, weathered with Humbrol enamel
washes and pastel chalks and sealed with Vallejo Matte varnish.
Comments welcome.
Cheers,
Joe

@Grauwolf - Joe,
Hadn't noticed your build before, great job!
Perhaps you could try posting this over in the Braille forum?
Anyhow thanks for posting and sharing, hoping to see more of your work.

Sorry I missed this one too. Surprised it hasn't had at least a few more comments as you've produced a nice Tiger Joe (seems only the controversial threads get much action in here lol). And at least with DS tracks you can shorten them and/or stretch them to fit, unlike the old vinyl offerings!

Hi Brent,
Thanks for your comments. Many complain about the DS tracks...my were too long but
I cut off 3 links and re glued them, bridging the two ends with a very thin piece of
Evergreen styrene and presto, useable tracks, took paint and weathering very well so
I really have nothing negative to say about the DS tracks.
Happy so far....

Joe

Again good work Joe for the famous tank you have made. Could put in a coin to ensure that it was a true 1:72 scale.
