Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had a quick list of what is good to lighten different colors if you are trying to panel fade etc? I know white would work but for some colors the result is not what you what, like with red for example. I am trying to lighten a green color and wonder if I should use a light green, yellow or white.

Hi Jeff. To use tamiya as a reference, you could use Buff or Deck Tan. It won't change the character of the green but will lighten it. You could also use a light flesh. Hope this helps.

This is what I use:
Green -> yellow
Blue -> white
Brown -> yellow
Black -> White
Red -> Ochre
Yellow -> Beige

And to darken:
Green -> brown/blue
Blue -> Black
Brown -> Black/red
White -> Black
Red -> Brown
Yellow -> Brown

This is *my* rough list, obviously it depends on the shade of each color...
