Hi,
I just made some stowage and a tarp for the top of my M113. And I lashed this down with some good strong rope. The rope has a metal shackle (I think it is called a shackle?) on one end. My problem is this shackle (the way I have it positioned) lacks weight. Any ideas how I can make it look heavier than it is?

Thanks!

IMHO, maybe you could just replace the metal loop with a knot, like you've done with the other rope. Such loops are usually seen on tow cables. The way you've stored the drums would prevent the crew to open the top hatch BTW...

Thanks, that is a good solution.
About the hatch, yes, I know. But when I built it I glued some badly painted tools near the hatch, and this is mostly to hide that. Also, they can get out the back if they really need to.
