Hello all!! After completing the model T-90, I decided that I will build something without caterpillars. My choice is the M1127 Stryker from Trumpeter. I know that this model is not very accurate, which is why, all the problems, I decided to solve by using of photo-etched sets from Eduard.
First, the basic is 36061:
The second set is 36063, Racks and belts:
And finally the third set, 36093 Stowage belts
I, also, decided to replace the main weapon of Stryker. Instead of M2 Browning, I'm going to equip a model in this weapon:
40mm Granade Machine Gun Mk19-3.
In addition, I also want to replace the rear machine gun. Trumpeter`s rifle is a little poor, so I`ll replace it with this:
This rifle, the M240B which additionally equipped with a scope.
Browsing the Internet, we found some interesting pictures of the vehicle. I liked the most:
I most liked the shield which protects the gunner called Clear Gunner Shield. I decided that I would do such a shield with my own hands.
OK then. Enough of writing, the time for photos, what I've done so far:
And here GSK by Grzegorz :
And temporarily mounted with a machine gun:
Of course GSK has not yet had finished, but soon will be done. I hope that you like it. I invite you to watch. Regards. Grzegorz

Thanks Thomas. I don't know what to do . I like the mg i've done, but I like the granade launcher as well. Probably i will do another balistic shield, attach it to the granade launcher and i will be doing swap every week

@Grzegorz
Excellent work! Lots of PE and AM and it does make the Stryker look good, but I think I like the scratch-build GSK and additions on the M2 best. Good skills!
I will be following closely.

Kobus

Hi Grzegorz,
looks pretty good.
I also have 4 Strykers in my Stash and one of them should get this weapon station as well.
Best regards

Keep on the good work Grzegorz,
for your info, the M2 barrel as you depict it is a blank firing device so only good for training purposes.

Thank you Olivier. I know that M19 BFA is for training only, but that was my plan. Basically, I`m going to build one of the Strykers from 4th Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment “Saber”. The inspiration for me, is this website:
http://tank-masters.de/?page_id=1733
As you can see, these photos were taken during exercise in Germany.
I decided to replace the M2 Browning on the MK19 grenade launcher, because doing blank firing adapter, I did not know completely how the device looks exactly and I made a big mistake. At the moment, I am waiting for photo-etched clear gunner shield, which prepares my colleague. Soon I will show photos. Best regards.
