Hi there one and all
Does anyone know if the RAF Regiment Scorpion CVTs that they used in Cyprus were RAF vehicles or ones taken over from an Army unit based in Cyprus. Secondly what markings did these vehicles have if any. And lastly did they late model or early model engine decks.

As far as I know the RAF Regt only used their own vehicles. (When the Rock Apes ceased to use CVR(T)s, the remaining vehicles were transferred into Army service but retained their RAF registration numbers).
All RAF-issue CVR(T)s were late model examples so if you're using the AFV Club/Revell kit, the engine deck is good to go...
Can't help with the markings but based on the ones I saw in the UK, I don't think they carried much more than standard registration and possibly tactical symbols (might have carried unofficial additions!).
