I didn't resist very long to start building this new kit. Globally the quality is very good and details are nicely done. Each sprue is well packed under blister and documentation is clear.
So here are the first steps of my building. All parts come very well together and at the end we can build the kit rather quickly, much more quickly than I thought. Photoeched parts are great and give real added value.
Let's show you the first pics.
For this specific part, do not forget to keep the 2 small pieces inside the big one as they will be used in the last steps. Don't worry all is well specified in the documentation.
So after less than 2 hours without going very fast all the hull and running gears are done.
Just to let you know the wheels can run ;-)

So I continue with the turret.
Everything is built very smoothly without any difficulty. Another very good point for this new company.
Photoetched parts which can be always difficult for newbies can be assembled there very easily using plastic parts as Meng do to be sure to form the right shape. Very efficient.

The kit looks very nice.. and it certainly is a plus (at least for me) that the parts fit well and go together very easily.. Looks like this and the VBL will be fun kits to build

Doesn't this thing have anti-slip on the upper surfaces?

Yes it has anti-slip coating. Have a look at my site to see where it is applied.
Prime Portal should be of some help too.

I am wondering about accuracy of the kit decals, are they correct for Afghanistan or Mali?

So let's follow with painting session.
Unfortunately my airbrush is dead so I had to paint everything by hand...
First step is green coat. I should have done a primer coat as the plastic kit is quite greasy.
I had to do nearly 3 layers of green
Then I did the brown still by hand
And finishing with the black. The result is quite acceptable and should be better with matt varnish and washes.

No option documented for the suspension but with the way the parts of the kit are done I guess it can be done
