Hi,
I'm looking for info on Pz IV markings for GrossDeutschland in '44. I found a decal set from Kagero that purports to have markings from GD in May '44 but I'm not sure what it's based on. I'm really looking for research resources.
Thanks,
Phil

"Grossdeutschland" usually used a German helmet sign, either solid or outline, in yellow or white.

Thanks. That must be the image Kagero based their decals on. Is it safe to generalize from that? Is it safe to think that Mk IVs in GD used a black outline for their numbers?

It may seem weird but check out You Tube. The German Newsreels for the period may be of some assistance. Real film footage trumps other sources.
