It is early June, 1944 and a small German patrol is and looking for any signs of the allied invasion. Hearing a splashing in the nearby lake, they sneak over to investigate. This diorama won 1st place at the 2014 IMPS nationals last year.

Forgot to mention, the figures are Tamiya's Panzer Grenadiers with a couple of Hornet head replacements, and the bathing beauty is a lead fantasy figure. All comments welcome.

Looks great Jesse.
The figures work well and the groundwork is very realistic.
Well worth the award.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It was a lot of fun to build. Had the concept in my mind for a couple of years before I finally got around to building it. Glad it turned out so good.

The award is very well deserved! Details & groundwork are exceptional! And those old Tamiya figures work out really well. I like how you were able to adapt their poses right out of the box into the scene.

Thank you , Jack. Yeah, it's great! No cutting or repositioning. Probably the last time I have been able to do that.
