Sadly folks, I just found out Shep Passed away on 1st August. I am devastated. He was the sole inspiration to my hobby. I loved his books and wore out several copies of each during my years of builds. I believe the method he taught.

I know this news probably covered somewhere else, but for me his diorama's were the pinnacle. His legacy to me is the standard by which I build, and will always ask myself when I finish one, what would Shep say if he saw it ? Would he pass it by or stop , look and maybe offer the smallest nod of respect?

Never met him him. but sure thing I will miss him.

He was the sole reason I got in to dioramas. His work has inspired me for years. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to attend one of his seminars and meet him.

RIP Shep.

I had the blessing of meeting him and talk about painting faces on 1/35 scale figures. Even with all the current methods and tools, I still look in awe at his. work. H e will be missed. I know that he would be telling me to get built.

SO SAD... He was a great inspiration to ALL modellers who were familiar with his work, "How To" articles and his wonderful advice. Shep will be sorely missed. Prayers for him and his family...
