Hi guys!

I'm not a soviet vehicles or kits expert, but I would like to build one 1:16 model and I saw this monster at 62 bucks in Chile, where I'll go next week.

May you, please help me?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers!

Hi Marco,
I haven't built the Hobby Boss 1/16 T-34, but from what I've read, it seems to be a bit more like a toy than a detailed scale model. I have built the Trumpeter 1/16 T-34 and those are very nice kits. More expensive than the Hobby Boss but worth it in my opinion. No matter which you decide to build, check Ebay, they usually have some for very reasonable prices. Other than that, enjoy!

Hi Marco

If u Google WSN 1/16 Rc T34 you will find the kit ..
hobby boss did a deal where they took the t34 and tiger one
and sold them as basic kits with all the electronics and gearboxes removed

The kits are really quite good value for money because of the size ...I do have two in my 1/16armour collection ..and spent hours detailing ...there is a lot of brass etch and resin update parts out there in the RC tank world

Hi guys!

As far as I can understand, is better not to buy this kit. I'll save my money and wait for Merrit's M-ATV.

Thanks a lot!

Never knew that they (Hobby Boss) released a T-34 in 1/16.

Hey Marco!

Thanks for the link! I have both the WSN and Trumpeter kits and it is the simpler molds from the WSN RC version as the upper hull has the antenna hole in the engine screen area.

Not a whole lot cheaper than the Trumpeter kit (and you can always skip the interior) but it has a lovely engine and transmission so maybe have it displayed outside the tank?

Hi Marco. , I like Erik, aka ME109G, have built Trumpeter's T34-85. Letting aside accuracy issues, if there are any, and considering that being such a big model there is room for a lot of improvement , which I didn't because I built it OOB, I would buy another one. T34/76's been in my scope for some time now but I simply have no room to keep it after it is built.
Go get Trumpeter.

Hi guys!

Thank you again.

As I said, I'll wait for M-ATV, but I have no space to keep this monster too.

Cheers!

I know, it's just an affordable option.

But you can always throw a spectacular paint job on it!
