I'll try to modify my Tiger's mantlet, but I don't know wich one to make. Take a look at this pic (used for discussion only):

I guess it must be either "G" or "I" mantlet, they look almost the same though. Any opinion about that will be welcome. This is "Tiki":

Best regards.

José.

Looks more like a mix of A or B with I to me, definitely NOT G.

This one says I, and not being able to fully see F it could also be that one as this part seems to be the same.

Sorry, I posted thatpicture because it is the bigger I could find, but here's a smaller (and complete) one:

So it looks more like the "I" mantlet. I already cut come plastic, waiting to make more detail. Best regards.

What are you playing at, Willem? The Rye Field model doesn't contain a mantlet that's even close to what is needed.

It looked to me like it at least closely resembles the I mantlet.

The "TIKI" mantlet has a thick vertical bar at the outside edge; they all have. And there's an open space between that and the gun.

Then it ALSO has a thick area occupying half of the open space. It's as thick as the outer bar.

The Rye Field mantlet has no thick parts in this open area.

Newbie to Tigers standing corrected. Just when you think you know your (Sherman) tanks Tigers prove to be a whole different kind of animal
