Does the 1:35 Tamiya zimmerit for the panzer iv ausf j also fit the Tamija panzer iv ausf h? Has anybody worked with this kind of zimmerit before? Would be interested to hear how it applies, and if there are any words of caution, etc..
Cheers
Matthew

I would buy anybody else's AM zimmerit made for your model; even if it costs a bit more. Tamiya zimmerit is ugly! (IMHO)

Atak Model has a set made for the Tamiya Panzer IV H. See if you can find it on the web or at your LHS.

I bought Tamiya's zimmerit for their Elefant. Withing 30 seconds of it arriving in the mail, I was on ebay ordering the Atak set. It looked awful. The definition was terrible and it didn't look at all like zimmerit. More like someone's first attempt at making their own after sanding it down to try again.

It will fit . But what do you have to do to make it fit ? You will need some putty and a zimmerit comb . Tamiya makes a PE set for that . Those that don't like it will tell tell you it's crappy , those that like will tell you it's okay . So take the opinions and weight it out . You are the one who will do the work not them , so you make the call !
