We don't post many large scale figures news on Armorama, but the sculpts from Jeff Shiu Miniatures are way too good to miss. Jeff's next release is 1/16 scale Fallschirmjager with Panzerfaust, a perfect pair to previously released figures in the same scale.

Wow! ... What an amazing set! I may never get to paint like a pro but I certainly love seeing this sort of art.

No no no no no. Another to add to the grey army! I'd hoped it would be the ammo bearer for the panzerfaust; next time, maybe?
Great stuff as always, thanks Mario for posting,
best regards

Lovely work, can we get it in 1/35th scale, too?

Er, these are modeled on the Dragon figure set, so all are available in 1/35...

At around $40-50 dollars each, they're not outrageously priced either. But then again, I'm looking at dropping around $150 for the little vignette those figures are practically BEGGING us to make... It's hard to model on a college student budget.

These are great figures - I have built four and have a few more in the wings. They fit great and require very little work to assemble. I think they are a good choice for your first large scale figure. They are not modeled off the dragon set. Jed's WWII figures are all 120mm. He has two 75 mm figures but (bummer) nothing in 1-35.

Very nice, but wait...NOT modeled after the Dragon figure set? With the exception of this kneeling figure being on both knees, and one figure missing, who might show up in a few weeks, months, etc., I'd say it's a really good fit for Dragon's Hedgerow Tank Hunters, Fallschirmjager Normandy 1944 - DML6127....

Yes Scouteyes, you are right as I think Jeff must get some inspiration from Dragon as I just looked at his site and the Ardennes Fallschirmjager are also sculpted in very 'familiar poses'.....very nice all the same.

Very very nice. Any Germans in Normandy are bound to sell well. We need more!! Especially action poses but I'll take any Late war Western Front Germans at this point in the game. If they were to do the Kampfgruppe Von Luck figures, I'd pay nearly whatever they wanted lol.
