Hi Guys, while working on an old MP models M50 sherman I noticed that the travel lock is missing from my old kit.
Does anyone know where I can find a replacement, or does anyone have a spare one in the parts box that they wouldn't mind parting with? Any help is appreciated

Not having seen it, is it unique to that vehicle only or were there other sherman varients that used the same travel lock that you could borrow from? Do you have a photo of the AWOL part?

Here is a picture of what the M50 travel lock looks like, It's unique to the M50
It's much different from the standard WWII era travel lock

Also on M-51s with the same single box stowage suite as seen on M-50s. The M-51 on display behind the building at Latrun has this travel lock. Early versions lacked the reinforcing bar in the center, but it was added later. It's not difficult to make, just follow the oic above.
