I'm currently having trouble getting Ammo and AK Interactive paints (and all true acrylics) to work well with my AB, so I kind of have to stick to Tamiya paints.. So, Does anyone know how to get IDF grey or sand colors using Tamiya paints? Anyone know of any mixing tips for those colors?

Use Khaki and Medium Gray 50/50 for the more modern color, Buff and Medium Gray 50/50 for pre 1973.
Khaki Drab and Buff 50/50 yields the greener color seen on Merkavas lately.
Tirans looked more gray as time progressed. I used Medium Gray and Buff in about a 70/30 ratio.

I remember spending the best part of a couple of days web-surfing for some answers to this question & ended up coming upon a site which listed the main colour variations & the timeframe in which they would've been used. And the mixes were all based on Tamiya acrylics. I went ahead & mixed up all those colours in anticipation of doing a whole fleet of IDF armour.
Do you think I can find the recipes now?
Do you think I can think of the site I got the info from?

Anyone have some info related to what I'm talking about?
