I'm curious to know if you guys have a "to buy" list, we're talking only military vehicles in plastic here.
Couple of years back I used to buy up to 10 1/35 kits a month, crazy!
Nowadays I rarely buy anything plastic, trying to sell off chunks of my stash and making a few trades... References and aftermarket, now that's another story!
There are however a few plastic kits on my radar, most of them being relatively recent releases.
I'll add my list in a separate post, but what's on your list?
Remember it has to be military vehicles in any scale, CURRENTLY AVAILABLE (already released) injection moulded plastic kits only.
Cheers,
Christophe

For some reason I don't have a 'Military Vehicle' to buy list. It seems for this subject it is more spontaneous purchases. Case in point I was following this link about Miniart and the next day I came home with a Miniart SU-76 (even posted a kit selfie of it) - https://archive.kitmaker.net/forums/238114.
I do, however have a flying things 'wish' list and for some unknown reason this year I have 'drifted' into the realm of floaty things which is not my normal subject. Maybe because I served in the US Navy and I am sure there is some Freudian explanation/analysis to explain why I have no real interest in that subject .
My stash, I think, is fully stocked with enough land crawly kits that even if I can roll back 40 or more years of my life I would still not have time to complete them.
Cheer

I very rarely have a "to buy" list as unless somethings an absolute bargain I can buy to put into the stash for "I may need that" I tend to buy things as and when I need them. As I don't work anymore due to ill health I run on a very tight budget so have to watch what I spend. The only time I really buy vehicles is if I have a specific idea for a diorama(which is my preferred method of display these days) and then I hunt around for the best price for what I need. I recently bought and built two Tamiya Stug IV's and the Eduard zimmerit sets as I had a picture in my minds eye of them rearming in a farmyard so therefore I need two miniart building sets. To add a bit more depth to it I also decided that I would have a road parallel to that with a column of German vehicles and infantry either moving towards the front line or in retreat as I decided to set it in Normandy. As result I bought the Italeri Tiger with zimmerit and two of their Panther A's which also have zimmerit. Whilst not 100% accurate (what is?) I've built these before and enjoyed it so rather than pay an arm and a leg for DML equivalents (whose vehicles I hate building) I went for pleasure building. Needless to say I'll have more ideas as I go along and inevitably change vehicles but they'll come in at a later date. This is why I don't do to buy lists as it locks me in. I do however have a to buy list of bits for dios such as grenade boxes, grenades, medical equipment etc from Plus models as they are things that I know I will need and use.

Howdy Y'all
I got a clue from Karl this year. I'm trying to whittle down the stash and only buy what I'm currently building. I try to build only what is already in the stash, hence, I don't need to buy anything and don't have a list. I did pick up a Meng D9 dozer at a swap meet and now I'm selling my Tamiya M26 Recovery vehicle on EBay. Zero sum game means less to move when I retire. I am keeping my eye open for an Italeri 1/35 Bofors and any 1/48 Italeri I can get a good deal on.
Just my thoughts and 2 cents.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Don't have a 'gotta have' list...more or less what hits my fancy as they are released.
Now, with that being said, and with over 300 1/35 kits in the stash, its fair to say, and admit, that a lot of those releases do in fact hit my 'gotta have' funny bone. I don't buy every kit released...pretty much the releases that holds my interest and/or having experience with the real thing that drives my purchase.
Another downfall, or advantage, depends on your point of view...is that I like building the oddity. Sometimes that takes a combination of 2 or 3 kits to complete. So, there's my wallet releasing the buying monster.
At 61, say building 5 kits a year, it would take me another 60 years to get though what I have just today! Now add the technology leap what would take place between now and then, then you have a constant 'stash' replenishment taking place. An infinite modeling mecca!
So, in the end, I'm in no rush to build, but I do have that weakness, and rush, for purchasing new releases!
