Has anyone built the DEF M50 turret? Kit number DM35011. It looks nice.

Hi,
I have started to assemble the DEF M50 turret, the following comments are based on the drawings in the Sabingamartin Sherman books.
1- Turret bustle is not long enough, width is OK
2- No turret ring just the upper shell
3- Gun barrel to long.
The balance of the turret features are good. I plan to rework the bustle and build an M50 Degem Alef with the M4A4 hull. IMO this is the best M50 turret to date.

I have one of Greg's turrets, and I have to say it matches all drawings I have on hand, and is very well made as well. It's in line for a build this year.

I have bought am M-50 turrets for years & end up disappointed. I want to build a series of M-50's both HVSS and VVS.

Greg sent me a note stating he is out of M-50 turrets. However I have ordered his M60HMGS Chilean conv.

I got one of the last ones he had back in November. I also found a DML kit, and got the DEF kit.

What would really be nice would be Tasca/Asuka making an M50.
