Hello all

I appreciate this is probably a very subjective topic, as I expect vehicles would've been painted according to each unit's specific mission profile BUT...is there any particular colour LRDG trucks would've been painted or was there really that much leeway that any of the colours available in the METO could be used?

Mate there is a great article in issue 43 of Model Military International. Basically you are correct - the crews used available paint to modify their cam to suit local conditions. Check out www.lrdg.org
