Hello,
I got a new question for the Tiger experts regarding to the S21 and S34 Tiger during the Kursk battle.
S21 and S34 are old 800er Tigers. I read that these tank had been still in dark grey when operation Zitadelle began. A three-colour scheme was applied, consisting of dark yellow, green and brown?
Are these information up to date?

The S34 is in fact the well known "Tiki" Tiger, 812 is it's original number, then it was renamed 833, it was suposed to be called S33 for Kursk, but as a tank with that number already existed, so S34 was used instead. It's true, base color is Panzer gray, for this particular Tiger, only dark yellow was applied on the field, there are a lot of pics of this tiger around. Sorry, no idea bout the S21.
