I am planning on giving my JU-87 a wash-- a few questions first...
1.) should I seal the decals with another coat of gloss before the wash?
2.) is it safe to use mineral spirits on the gloss finish( testors gloss coat from a rattle can)
or will it remove/damage the clear coat? Im also thinking when I wipe the wash off when it is dry with some mineral spirits.
as the topic states...is it safe?
Ps, the model is painted with MM enamels.

I'm not sure what kind of thinner you are using, but I would spray an acrylic gloss coat (or future) before applying your wash

I would use a different form of gloss, an acrylic one. Mineral spirits are very harsh on any type of paint other than acryl, it might wipe off your gloos, and possibly ruin your decals.

Any good acrylic gloss anybody can recommend? I'm just using store bought mineral spirits.
