Hello,

I would like to post here some photos of the model that I have designed and constructed.

I have named the model Pak. Taco (Due to the German cannon that it bears Pak. 40 75mm and Taco due to another similar 4 legged "tank" that is named Taco) and it fits in the "What if" and Ma.k (maschinenkrueger) category of models in 1/35 scale.

The kit has been designed in a 3D CAD program and the prototype was machined with CNC milling out of urethane prototyping board some other parts of the model where 3D printed.

The final kit has been reproduced from silicon molds with urethane resin with the aid of vacuum and pressure casting.

I attach some photos from the prototype at its construction phase and the final kit
assembled.

Later I will upload photos from the painting of the model.

Interesting concept. Maybe you could change the design of the gun so it is less identifiable as a Pak 40 (especially the muzzle brake) as it is apparently not breech loaded. Also that large slatted grill (or whatever) facing forward makes it look vulnerable to a hit. I would also add some hydrolic pistons and cabling detailing for activation of the legs. Just a thought...

I acknowledge all the technical comments you made for the kit and I can also agree.

But its a "what if" fantasy model that is designed to have some elements of realism but most of all to look cool. The design focuses more to that than being 100% technically correct.

Each leg has 4 degrees of freedom. The 2 pistons that are visible in each leg can be fully articulated after assembly of the model adding hydraulic cabling can easily be done by adding some copper wire.

Most of all its a model to have fun and focus more to the weathering and painting of the model instead of worrying about the historical accuracy of the model.

I apologize! I didn't look at the enlargements. Now I see the rods and cylinders, and springs for leg articulation. Very nice!

she's gonna need an autoloader , like a chain belt with a drum full of PAK 40 rounds, take note, PAK 40 rounds are pretty long.
I'd also put a 37mm & 20mm on the opposite side to balance it out. 2 MG 42's for eyes. Oh..& 2 Panzerfaust's on the underbelly.

LOVED the Mechwarriors back when they were the hot item in games land, this falls right into that category as an autonomously operating Mechbuster.
