ICM has an L1500A soft top in the works and I believe this is an all new model offering. This is the latest kit they have announced in 1/35th scale.

Isn't that their earlier kit with a tarp cover fitted?

I supposed it would be asking too much for ICM to have included the soft top in the first kit as an option......never mind. That would mean they couldn't squeeze an additional $45+ out of us.

I paid 16 euro plus freight of another 8 euro from HoBBy.dn.ua so look around. Very affordable, it is the others like dragon with there high prices. Support the up and coming manufacturers .

I have not seen the sprues, but ICM as a rule is pretty generous and the soft top will likely be there in the box as well.

Glad to see this one, Dragon released several Sd.Kfz.7 kits with no top at all.

I'd expect that ICM would be included in 35529 because it's advertised as the soft top version. This kit is a rebox of 35525, which has the top down (folded down and stowed, to avoid confusion in terminology ). The raised top in 35529 is the only "new" part.
The same thing was done with 35531, which is the "open" version of the G4. No option for a "closed" top. You'd have to purchase another kit (35532) in order to get that. My point is that it's pretty lame that ICM deems it a good idea to market what is essentially the same kit with the addition of one crummy part and make a big deal out of it.
