This kit looks like it will build up nicely (with David Byrden's tweak list). The price difference between it and Dragon will be greeted with much joy by some modelers.

Looks like a great kit! David Bryden's tweak site will really help those of us who want to build one but are not really experts. Can't wait to see someone build one up and see how all that nice plastic fits!

It will be interesting to find out about RMF next few kits, and direction and choice of kits . love their tracks system.

Surprised there aren't more replies on this as the original thread certainly elicited some dramatics lol. Sure, Dragon's Tigers are nicer - but even the new releases are hard to find and are expensive..and soon end up un evilbay at stoopid prices. Also as far as I know DML don't kit this particular version currently. In addition the tweaks Mr. Byrden so kindly listed seem minor and within the range of most modellers. The price is attractive and it looks like this kit can come close to rivalling Dragon's for a fraction of the funds. It should also go without saying new manufacturers should be encouraged and applauded. Their choice of release may not be everyone's cup of tea but who knows - maybe their next release will be a rare or unkitted afv or wingy thing! It is also the only real alternative to DML's Tigers. Tamiya's can be good but are not wholly accurate. Academy's are "meh" and Italeri and Zvezda are really not worth mentioning. I can't speak to the AFV late Tiger as I have it packed away in storage

It's 6120 yen over at Hobbylink Japan, which with delivary is about £38.

Tim quoted the price for the Rye kit, It's listed at 6120 JPY. I don't know about the 38 GBP. I checked conversion rates for the whole month of August and none of the exchange rates jibe with that price, in real money
or pounds. I did get mine from the Czech Republic for $53.28, including shipping.

Ask your hobby shop to order it from us. The standard version RM 35001 is $54.95 and the upgraded version with custom made ABER metal gun barrel is $72.90. RM 35003 Russian Front with interior is $83.95 and the upgraded version is $101.90. All are in stock.
