I'm in the process of building the Tamiya T62 for the "Whole Hog" campaign, and I've got about five pounds of mostly Verlinden AM stuff and some spare Friuls to go with. Don't laugh, it's all fun and games, right?
So my question is: Can common T55 wheels be used to replace the rather poor Tamiya kit wheels? All I've found so far seems to say "yes", but I wanted a fresh perspective, so here I am. My major gripe with the Tamiya wheels is the total lack of the smaller lightening (mud relief?) holes that appear in all the pics I've been able to dig up so far, and the difference in size of the same. I have handy some Esci and Trump T55 wheels, and if I were to find a way to get around the poly center caps on the Trump wheels, they look pretty good compared to the Esci parts.
All help appreciated!

I'd say go for it, would be very surprised if they're not identical.

Thank you Sean. I was thinking so, but Russian stuff is not something I've done detailed research on.
Glad to get confirmation.
