Just spotted this in the future releases section of the Hannants website. Anybody have more details?

http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AC13297

I guess it will be based on their crappy old M60 hull. On the other hand I like Academy's recent output, and they're certainly cranking out new variants lately.

I'd guess it will be just like their Magach 6B release- new tooled parts, but the old M60 lower hull, running gear and other odds and ends. I am sort of surprised that DEF Models never released a lower hull update for the Academy kit, similar to MR Modelbau's. They released a bunch of other M60 related items

I don't care if it's the old hull, it's still a 7C in plastic, and for me it's a must-have.

I'm hoping for AFV Club to come out with Magach variants. There's plenty of excellent models to build while I wait.

Hopefully the gun will be movable and the turret won't be a huge block.

Academy have released the instructions on their site dataroom:

http://www.academy.co.kr/eng/6q/frmBoardView.asp?pMenuId=BOARD00014&pCode=9072&pShow=VIEW

From the looks of it, the hull needs some work, the turret looks very nice.

Tracks and sprockets will need replacement, IMHO...

Had the 6B Gal Batash in my stash, but sold it, when I realised the cost of aftermarket goodies I needed.I suppose the 7C will need as many aftermarket stuff too....

Hi All,
Ordered & received the kit from E-Bay here are my thoughts
1- Turret great
2- Gun is movable
3- Hull, suspension, track same old
4- 7 hull details good
My plan is to update hull & track with after market

Regards, Vern

Yes, and now I'm waiting for the new Desert Eagle booklet.
And it's an M60 turret, not an M60A1 one, hidden under the additional armor!

Well....
I have the Desert Eagle book coming too, really looking forward to that.
Hobbyeasy has the kit in stock for right at $30, but shipping is at least $20, so I'm going to wait until Sprue Bros gets it in.
Anyone gets a chance to throw up a few pics, that would be cool.

Hi Russel - take a look here:

http://mmzone.co.kr/mda/docview.php?id=435

It's a nice kit - I got it a couple of weeks back. Old parts are mostly hidden, and the new parts are well executed and look accurate.

Really like the looks of this edition. Pardon my ignorance but, Has this variation ever fired a shot in anger? Lebanon maybe?
Thanks!

I received mine from Korea this morning (under 40 USD including shipping). Turret parts are all new and do look nice but the rest are a mixed bag dating from 1990's. I am not going to spend a fortune on AM tracks so this will do. Hull definitely needs some tender, loving, care and elbow grease.
