Which type of tanks were used by Soviet Army between 1979-1988 .i searched the forum but some members are not sure about T72... ...... T62 was used ... Any info? Cheers...

T-55, T-55M1, T-62, T-62D. The only T-72 based vehicle used in Afganistan in late 80's was "Object 634" aka RSZO (MLRS) "Buratino"
