Meng Kids have been coming out with a variety of the "Egg" style kits. I'm a huge fan of Egg Planes and when Meng and Fujimi came out with theirs...I got excited. I have a few of the Fujimi kits; they are quite neat and considering their ships have accessory sets, they're pretty slick.

An eBay search for FUJIMI Chibi Maru will bring up most of their kits and the PE or wood decking.

I haven't picked up a Meng Kids kit yet...they're still kind of expensive and the shipping is quite pricey. But, those bombers??!!??!! OMG!

Edit: just checked the Meng Kids on eBay. Less than $24 with free shipping for bombers. Oh boy, momma's NOT going to be happy.

There's also the ones that come free with Tiger-Model's two kits.. but some people are selling them on ebay.. some are selling them cheap.. but some are asking almost $20 for them!

That 99A and planes look like they would be a lot of fun to build .Nice change from 500 piece kits and photo etch ! Didn't someone release a stubby Panzer IV kit of this type back in the spring ? Trumpeter maybe ? Seem to remember pictures of sprues on ML ,from the Japanese model and hobby show ? But can't seem to find it now ..
