Looks like someone ordered that it be driven off the assembly line without painting, with the gun mounted from pieces that had been brought back in to be refit for use in the vehicle, but not processed through refit yet -- an 'it works, push it out the door, it doesn't have to be pretty' job from the very end of the war. All you need is a diorama with it just outside the factory door, and a crew trying to get shells loaded, with smoke from combat seen off in the distance.

The thing never made it out of the shop while being built because it was captured I think by the Brits.
It was disassembled put on a ship and disappeared somewhere in transit never to be seen again.
