We haven' had much info on Assault Models lately. The company just released their 5th figure in 1/35 scale, again a modern soldier from the Middle East.

Stuart, I think those are Arc'teryx LEAF Military Knee Caps.

Looking at that pose, I was struck by a mental image of taking the figure's leg off where the knee pad pulls in the pants, and finding a female dancer figure with a bare leg and high heels to replace it, just for the sheer incongruity of it.

There are times when I think my imagination shouldn't be let out to run around by itself; it goes off into strange places sometimes.

I think the helmet cut is too low as with MICH, one can see half of the ears. This helmet looks like the older PAGST.

Other than that, the figure looks great!

The pose of the figure is a bit strange but the model of gnee pads is interesting.

What do you think about the size of the rifle ? It looks a bit small for me.

It does look small, but then it's only artwork. Or maybe he's jut a big dude...
I reserve judgment until we actually see shots of the real thing.
Hey, I wonder if, as a "US Para from Afghanistan" I could review it?

There's a 360-degree view of the bare resin figure, built up, on Assault Models.
