Not a bad review but they are not handholds they were attachment points for camouflage. And they were called the 14/20th Hussars.
There are two build blogs on leicestermodellers.weebly.com one for a Mk11 the other the Mk 10. It builds up very well BTW.

The kit itself looks good.
But what I do NOT like is the totally simpified splash guard (or whatever it is) in front of the driver´s hatch. On the original it is a U- shaped struture, turned 90 degrees. On the Takom kit it is the same blob of platic as found on the ancient Tamiya kit. On a 2015 kit for the price asked I expected a better solution, e. g. the rail as separate part made in a slide mould.
Meng did that on their Leopard 2 kit, which is a superb solution and it looks excellent.
