Legend Productions has announced their latest releases in 1/35th scale. The big news is a new willy’s Jeep and Leopard conversion.

Nice! Now if they follow on with a Leopard 1A5NO2 I will be in heaven :-)

Hello Sven. This is a 1A5NO2 (although this is a very unofficial designation) which has the add-on armour. 1A5NO has no add-on armour as they were converted from ordinary Leo 1s. Late in life, some had extended baskets. Is this what you are thinking of?

Thanks Mike. Then I am happy .. well 99% happy anyway :-) I would love to see a conversion with the extended turret basket as well (you are right, I had incorrectly mistaken that for the NO2 variant), but perhaps not too difficult to scratchbuild with measurements and drawings at hand? Great to see that decals are available as well.

Very interesting set for the Jeep. Got to get me one.
In the book The US Army Jeep at War by Steven Zaloga on page 23 there are a couple pic's showing a jeep with that set up, caption for photo says 101st Airborn.
As long as we are talking medical jeep's a conversion kit for a Marine Corp Holden jeep would be interesting.
