Anyone that have bought the new revell GTK boxer ambulance yet? Is it a good kit? I have not bought any revell kits after their first Fuchs kit that i was dissapointed at...
Have the German isaf troops used this ambulance? If so can you paint it german desert colors?

There are definely a couple of Boxer Sanitätsfahrzeug around in ISAF camouflage in Germany. I was told by their crew that these were delivered brandnew from production line to be transported to Afghanistan, but came too late and mostly remained in Germany since politicians had already decided to end the mission. Google for "Boxer Isaf" and you do find pictures of them. The vehicles remained in this camouflage since then. I also remember to have seen a handful of pics of one in Afghanistan, see

Looks to me like the Ambulance as long as someone points out that there was another mission container with the raised hull top.

Description points out picture to be taken at Mazar-i-Scharif during a demonstration. However, I guess it MIGHT only have been 1-2 vehicles down there which were in state to being trained on when the decision to end the mission was made.

Have not heard of the kit being out yet.

The sgSanKfz Boxer arrived in Afghanistan in december 2012.

Nice to have a possibility to make an ISAF vehcile with the kit.
