You may get your wish Garry. I'm told Academy is doing a new tooling for October of this year. We can both keep our fingers crossed.

I would love to see anyone produce kits of the FMTV's. Come on Revell or Italeri. 2-1/2 and 5 tons, real simple to give us both, same cab, longer chassis and an extra axle. Just like was done for the MAN series. Modern variants galore....

The M60, Land Rovers (current generation), Centurions, a new Chieftain, some more Centurions, The Saracen, some modern arty, would all be nice for a start. Did I mention the Centurions?...Jim

Well my first impulse is to say PACV hovercraft...
But my serious answer is IDF Centurions.
We finally have T64's , they're not great, but we have 3 of them.
We have T55's of various levels of worthiness,
MTLB's, BMP's (all 3!!) BMD's, Huey's, all three Merkava's
IDF variant M113's in injection plastic
and a 1/35th scale HInd helicopter is on the way soon..
All of those I would have sworn 15yrs ago I would never have seen so why can't I just this once have a PACV please...

========FAVs and LSVs!!!===============
FAVs, definitely FAVs. Sure, we have the Accurate Armor Land Rover, but Accurate Armor does almost every major British AFV, no?
The only one I can think of is the Academy M151 Shimira, but that's not much of a dedicated FAV. And the Hobbyfan FAV wasn't even in service beyond the testbed.
We have a whole class of FAVs...
* Singapore Flyer
* SEAL DPV
* SEAL ALSV
* SAS and Ranger Land Rover
* AIL Desert Raider
* Hunter FAV
* China's NORINCO FAV
* Cobra LSV
* Australian SAS 6X6 Land Rover
* Dumvee
* Mercedes G-Bat
* Mercedes G-Wagon
* Rheinmetall's LIV
Every now and then, someone posted "Where is DML's SEAL DPV?" Never made---DML said it was too hard, but never said if they tried or what went wrong. And then no one else ever tried? Amazing! A drought of FAVs from like 1991 to 2003 except for the Hobbyfan FAV.... [

While I would like to see an MBT-70 (I have 4 of the Aurora kits), cancelled AFVs that are made into kit form (Hawk & ITC T-92, Aurora MBT-70) disappear rather quickly. We have about as much chance of seeing the MBT-70 as we do seeing the cancelled Crusader howitzer in kit form or in 1:1 scale.
I think one kit that has been truly ignored is the cavarly version of the bradley. Yes, we did get the original M3 CFV as a poor man's Tamiya kit (basically their M2 minus the interior). We've now got the third version of the Tamiya IFV (M2, M2A2, M2A2ODS), but where is the M3A2 CFV?
To me, it would be very easy to include a new TOW loader hatch, add some plugs for the back ramp to eliminate the firing ports, and add a step in the directions to sand away the hull mounted periscopes. Don't get me started on interiors for the Bradleys either.

Modern towed artillery. There really isn't that much post-WWII towed arty in plastic and it's sorely missed (by more than just me I imagine).

STRYKER!
I can't believe nobody's done (or even announced) a kit of this vehicle yet! It's been getting press attention ever since before it entered service (and even more now because of OIF). It's also highly controversial, with lots of people saying its an enourmous waste of money and others saying it's the next revolution in armored warfare.
All this, combined with the fact that there are lots of versions of the thing (troop carrier, cannon-armed, OIF with anti-RPG screens, etc) and lots of diorama possibilites (its a TROOP CARRIER in IRAQ), seems to be going against the model companies' trend of coming out with new kits based on the world situation (Tamiya and Dragon re-releases, etc...)
In English, I WANT A STRYKER! #:-)

I'd love to have one of those in injection plastic:
The contemporary Land Rovers will be nice to have, but as far as I know there's a big problem regarding the "royalties" that Rover wants...
Ciao

ah yes, the WISH list:
in no particular order (and in 1/35 plastic!)
a 7 1/2 ton Mack NO truck
"Super" HET with trailer, so I can haul my M1's around in style.
Most modern MAZ series tank transporter, for my russian tanks.
M198 155mm Towed artillery....sheesh, how long they gonna ignore this....Italeri?
Retooled T-62 (rumored to be coming from Tamiya...maybe)
Retooled BMP-2...c'mon DML you can do it.
a CUCV...really.
Retooled T-80...DML?
M60 series AVLB
M728 (I know, Academy...promises, promises...)
a REAL new-tool Bradley M2A2 ODS or M3A2...either is fine.
