Where did that kit go? They showed off a built prototype (albeit flawed) a couple of months ago but now the Black Death version is out they've been completely silent on the kits status.

Their website has been down for as long if not longer as well, and other than their VK 7201 all their other models seem to be out of production. I hope they still are in business.

Has their website ever worked? I remember when their Lowe was due out and I tried checking their site and it didn't work

Someone mentioned that Amusing is made up of guys who do this more for fun than as a business, so they take their time. Not sure where I saw that, though

I had been wondering what had happened to Amusing Hobby myself as I had been waiting on the Conqueror release. As its now just over a year since that kit was announced and no other news at all from Amusing Hobby.

As all their other kits are now listed as out of stock everywhere I guess it does lead to think they have folded. I did see some comment earlier in the year that Trumpeter had made offers to smaller companies to work in partnership to produce their kits so hopefully something might come of it

If I were you, I'd wait until some aftermarket company offered a "corrections" update for this BLACK PLAGUE Conqueror. Or barring that, some enterprising model company such as MENG, TAKOM, TRUMPETER/HOBBY BOSS, ACADEMY, AFV CLUB, MERIT and/or BRONCO, to name just a few, came out with their own Conqueror.

I think ACCURATE ARMOUR or CROMWELL at one time made one as a full-resin kit, but this kit would probably be expensive and hard-to-find to boot!

BLACK PLAGUE/DEATH/FLAG or whatever you wish to call them are DRAGON's "enfant terrible", and they NEVER fail to disappoint...

Accurate Armor has one that is still being produced. It is expensive and in all honesty has its own issues and some simplified detail. The suspension isn't an easy build, or at least that's what it looks like peering at the parts (I have the Mk.2 kit).

Greetings,

Out of Lowe, but we have some of their other kits. www.pacmodels.com. [email protected]. Thanks!

What exactly do you classify as "all" and everywhere"? A 2min internet search shows that both Lucky and Hobbyeasy have some of their kits in stock, and EBay shows numerous Chinese stores and others selling all of their kits. And of course, as noted, PCM has stock too. Perhaps you should avoid making such broad statements until you actually do some research?

Matt,
The Accurate Armour suspension is a lot easier then it looks, I did the suspension on the ARV in two nights, the tracks are also best done with steam as it is a better way to bend the rather substantial tracks..
