WOW! AFV Club only showed a line drawing and Panda has box art. Let's see who going to have there's out first.
This along with Bronco Buffalo and Kinetic's Maxxpro and their own Cougar will make for a nice OEF Road clearing diorama.

Panda is usually about 3-4 months after releasing the box art the kits arrive. It least that seems to have been the case with their other MRAPs.

Im very afraid to buy this!Based on what we know of all the other releases.Lots and lots of flash on sprues missing parts, warped pieces. But they do things that not many other companies would ever dream of!So let the waiting begin

Just for a radical change - let's not start berating and moaning about a product that hasn't even been released yet.
The glass isn't half empty - it's half full.
Today's modeller lives in an age where kits that wouldn't even have been imagined 5-10 years ago are being released at a phenomenal rate.
Think of any potential flaws as a chance to do "actual modelling" not just glue and paint and done - finished.
I'll step down from my soap-box now but with this passing thought - "be grateful for what has/is/is about to be released".

Cool stuff, the more the merrier.
I see Mothers name mentioned a lot in these threads, and highest respects to him and his Husky build and modeling skills. I would suspect, however, that the manufacturers have access to actual real vehicles to use as references?

Husky VMMD referencs is already available:
http://tankograd.com/cms/website.php?id=/en/Husky-VMMD-US-Minensuchfahrzeug.htm Good for AM companies to work on update sets as soon as the kits hit the shelves.

Let`s see who wins the "battle" between AFV Club and Panda. I bet my money on AFV Club.

I have seen a photo i think with the Crows 2 on the roof, is that this version of the Husky that can have that, or is that another version of a husky that carry that weapon on the roof?

If the people at Panda can solve their really bad parts-fit problem, their kits would be among the best around, IMHO

This one ? :
"A "Husky" vehicle crew from 541st Sapper Company, 54th Engineer Battalion, Task Force Dolch clears the side of the road while conducting route-clearance operations in Logar Province, Afghanistan, Feb. 20. (2nd Lt. Michael Chigbrow)" :
Full sizeThe Husky pictured above differs from the MkIII pics I've seen...Like this one :

My guess : the one on the top picture is a Husky 2G (two-seat variant), like this one :

This is the Husky boxart only. Maybe Panda is going to add some parts...
Remember their first Cougar 6x6 announcement and what's now in the box: a JERRV!
Lets wait and see!

yes that one, ok it's a 2 seated version ..maybe they dont have the crows 2 on the 1 seated version then..maybe some of the American guys or girls

here know if you use it with that weapon on the 1 seated version also?
By the way Henri-Pierre, do you know if the French army have this also, found a photo when i was Google on the Husky and it stood it was French with the desert colors? The photo was from the back so i did not see the hole one, maybe it was another version also...

Yes we use the Husky as well, but we call it SOUVIM

. It looks to be an earlier version though (Mk II ? ). 5 have been bought in 1995 : :
we also use the newer SOUVIM 2 (but I don't think there will be a 1/35 scale kit of this one anytime soon...) :

Thanks Stuart. In case you guys missed it the other Husky thread, my walk around is still $15.00, and comes with the bonus of an ABV walk around featuring vehicles from
Ft. Hood and Camp0 Casey, Korea. Also has measurements in case you want to sharp shoot the manufacturers.
