In the movie Kelly's Heroes the ones that were used did not have straight armor shields, instead they had an angle to them down the middle on each side. Local fabrication or actual and thus correct issue?

Interesting that you were busy building aircraft, and now wanting to build something to shoot them down. There's probably some psych term for that. As to the different mounts, the Wermacht arms industry frequently altered vehicles, sometimes just at someone's whim. Then there's different companies building the same basic vehicle, but employing their own modifications. Seems to me that you have a range of options and whatever mount you decide on would likely be fine. Looking forward to seeing yours coming together, as this vehicle was always one of my favorites.

This is very interesting to me, as I too want to building something like this.
Good work, keep us updated!

I don't know, Dustin. So far you've only built a Pzkpfw IV and a VI. You have to build at least one each of the I, II, III and V before you can move on to other vehicles.
It's the law.

LOL!!
Well, so far.. I still have to finish the IV and the VI, and the Panther that I'm waiting for the campaign to confirm. So that's three kits needing finished and two aren't far away at all. I do have a Pz. III to build. Once the other 3 are completed, I'll either move to the Tiger II or the JagdTiger. Not sure yet. Lol
