Some of you have been to my site with the reference pictures of an M60A3.

Because of some changes at my host, I had to reduce the size of the images to 800 x 600.

My question to you is this. If I were to take all 85 pictures on the site at the original resolution of 1600 x 1200 and add in the other 161 detail reference shots that are at 2560 x 1920 and put the whole batch on a CD (about 350 MB worth of images) would that be worth $10 plus shipping? Of so, I may try to get a few more images shot and then offer them for sale on my site.

Please give me your thoughts.

Also, regardless of wether I do the CD thing or not, the 85 picture walkaround will remain on my site, only the pictures are now 800x600.

The CD will just be for the people who want the larger images to work with.

I'm glad I downloaded all your photos while they were still hi-res

Great photos, but I personally would rather not give $10 plus shipping for such CD. I managed to collect quite large number of M60A3 shots from free Internet sources and these with addition to a few books give me enough reference information.

Don, I am going to have to agree with Pavel on this one. I have found that not very many people are willing to buy picture CD's, however, they are great for trading. I have traded my collection of reference pics with others quite a bit and have gotten A LOT of new pics for myself to use.

After giving it more thought, I am going to start putting up images 5 at a time at 2560 x 1920 for one week. After that time, I will reduce them to 800 x 600 and put up 5 more big ones.

At least this way I can get the images out to the modeling community without going way over the new size limitations.
